A Home Built
on Sea & Vision

This 900+ sqm property on Gilutongan Island has roots that run as deep as the ocean surrounding it. Originally built by Juliana and Victoriano Menguito, it was more than a home. It was a testament to ambition, resourcefulness, and love for this island.

Victoriano was a fisherman at heart, but his mind never stopped working. He owned his own fishing boat, ran his own trade, and had a gift for seeing what others missed. Recognizing that the island's greatest challenge was fresh water, he engineered a large rainwater catchment system, a remarkable feat that still stands on this property today. Neighbors followed, built their own tanks, and some even built a livelihood from it.

The property passed down through generations, and today half of it is owned by one of his daughters, and the family's love for this island carried forward. What was once their family home is now open to you: a place to gather, to rest, and to feel what it means to truly belong to the sea.

A Legacy Still Standing

Victoriano's original rainwater catchment system, built by hand when fresh water was a luxury on the island, still stands on the property. A quiet monument to ingenuity and care.

The active area spans 400+ sqm: a two-storey concrete home with a covered sea-view hall, rooftop terrace, four rooms, and open grounds. The remaining half of the property is currently a work in progress, with more to come as we continue building this place up.

Here's an advantage most tourists never get: they spend 30 to 60 minutes on a boat just to reach Gilutongan first. You're already here. Every island below is a short hop from your doorstep. Just board a boat and go.

Boat arrangements can be coordinated on request. Entrance fees are paid directly at each island.

Nalusuan Island ~5 min

A well-preserved marine sanctuary famous for its long wooden bridge stretching over crystal-clear turquoise water. Feed colorful fish, snorkel the coral gardens, and float in calm, clear water.

Entrance fee: ₱300/head

Caohagan Island ~15 min

A tiny, charming island owned by a Japanese national, with white sand beaches, clear shallow water, and a lively local seafood market. Buy fresh catch from fishermen and have it cooked right on the beach.

Entrance fee: ₱200/head

Olango Island ~25 min

Home to one of the largest populations of migratory birds in the Philippines, with about 100 species at any given time. Beyond birdwatching, explore mangrove forests, fish sanctuaries, and peaceful beaches.

Pangan-an Island ~30 min

At low tide, you can walk or ride between Olango and Pangan-an along an exposed reef flat, literally walking between islands. A rare and memorable experience you won't find at any resort.

Sulpa Island ~15 min

A small, quiet islet with shallow, calm waters, ideal for swimming and relaxing. A perfect quick stop between bigger islands, especially for families with younger guests.

Pandanon Island ~1–2 hrs

The adventurer's pick. Farther out between Cebu and Bohol, Pandanon's east side feels like a private island, undeveloped,, pristine white sandbars, and crystal-clear blue water. Worth the longer ride for groups who want something truly remote.
